Our previous posts have mostly focused on trends in the consumer drone department. This post will focus on fashion trends, particularly in the jewelry department.  SHOPologee just recently finished updating its Earrings Capsule. For those who are wondering, SHOPologee coins the notion of a ‘Capsule Shop’ as one which curates 30 or fewer trending essential must-have affordable online shopping items within a particular category of consumer products. The concept of a ‘capsule’ was first appeared in relation to a Capsule Wardrobe and is part of the larger ‘minimalist‘ trend, a trend which Forbes.com recently described as an ever-growing trend aimed at ‘declutter’ one’s lifestyle. These concepts have been transposed and adapted by SHOPologee to the wonderful world of online shopping. So, if you’re online shopping for a drone, for instance, our Drone Capsule displays 30 (or fewer) of the latest trending affordable consumer drones available to online shoppers. The idea is to simplify, facilitate, declutter, and narrow down the selection of online shopping items to a few of the best, essential, latest trending items.

Our Earrings Capsule Shop: Finding the Top 30 Trending Essential Earring Designs

SHOPologee recently finished the long and arduous process of updating its Earrings Capsule. We say long and arduous, only because building our Capsule Shop requires taking into account the views, preferences, and opinions of our online audience and shoppers, rather than building a collection of earrings that focuses solely on our own preferences. In selecting which pair of earrings to include in our 30 trending essential earrings, we first conducted some preliminary market research into trending fashion style for earrings. Google Trends, for instance, indicated that double-sided stud earrings, constellation earrings, as well as ethnic tribal earrings were trending in the earrings department. Based on our preliminary research of trending earring styles, we then selected hundreds of different styles, colors, types, and designs of earrings, which we then put to our online audience to determine which ones to include in our selection. For every 1 pair of earrings selected, at least 5 to 10 others were displayed. The final top 30 trending essential earrings are now available in our Earrings Capsule Shop.

Sharing Our Findings: the Top 5 Trending Earring Styles

After we finished updating our Earrings Capsule with 30 of the latest trending earrings styles and designs, we, of course, wanted to go further.  We wanted to determine which of the top 30 trending earrings were gathered were in the top 5 most trending essential earrings designs. Immediately below are some of the most popular, favorite earrings chosen by our online audience. 

1. Cactus Pearl Stud Earrings - $18.99: a highly popular, more classic design of earrings favored by our audience of online shoppers were these fancy cactus pearl earrings. We included these in our Earrings Capsule shop because of the unique combination of the all too familiar, classic, conservative look of pearl stud earrings, with a trending, modern, and fancy design that is cactuses. The simplicity of the design behind these earrings makes them suitable for a broad range of fashion styles, from glamorous to elegant, to trending to exotic, and much more.

2. Pearl Leaf Earrings – $10.99: a trend we noticed from our online shoppers was a preference for simple, fancy, delicate silver earring design combined with a pearl. As with the cactus earrings described in number 2 above, these equally fancy pearl earrings were also loved by our online audience. As with the cactus pearl earrings, these earrings combine the classic, familiar look of pearl earrings with the fancy, trending, delicate, and simple of two delicate sterling silver leaves.

3. Black Retro Punk Arrow Earrings – $12.99: Another pair of earrings that received many clicks from our audience of online shoppers were these black 80s retro punk arrow shaped earrings. Granted, the mouse cursor arrow shape of these earrings were probably one reason why these earrings received so many ‘clicks’ and likes from our online shoppers, but the highly fashionable and familiar retro punk look of the black triangles is certainly not a factor to be discounted from the appeal our online shoppers felt towards these earrings.

4. Seven (7) Color Chakra Gem Ethnic Dangling Drop Pendant Earrings – $16.99: another completely different style of earrings that was also loved by our online audience of shoppers were these very colorful, eye-catching, ethnic Chakra gem drop earrings. Was is unique about these earrings is that they are filled with meaning and purpose. Some who believe in natural sources of healing energy might also consider these earrings as being useful. These 7 colored Chakra gems (‘thought’ in Indian) are said to each fulfill their own healing powers: the 1st purple Chakra (Sahasara, or Crown) is a source of energy to the nervous system, the brain, and heals depression; the 2nd blue Chakra (Ajna, or Brow Chakra) a is a healing source for the eyes; the 3rd turquoise Chakra (Vishuddha, or Throat) is a source of healing for the respiratory system, the neck, and throat; the 4th green Chakra (Anahata, or Heart) is a source of healing for the heart and lungs; the 5th yellow Chakra (Manipura, or solar plexus) is a source of healing for the digestive organs; the 6th orange Chakra (Swadhisthana, or Sacral Chakra) is a source of healing for the bladder, lower back, and abdomen; and the 7th red Chakra (Muladhara, or root chakra) is a source of healing for the joints, bones, and lower intestines.

5. Mario Bros. Stud Earrings – $12.99:  these colorful, super geeky asymmetrical Mario Bros. earrings were understandably among our audience’s favorite pair of earrings. We included these Mario Bros. earrings in our Earring Capsule, simply because of their creatively fun, and highly unique look. Of the thousands of earrings being designed, the geeky gaming fashion look of these earrings definitely sets this pair of Mario Bros. earrings from other fashion styles and designs.

Described by many expert drone hobbyists as being highly agile and maneuverable, with some drone experts even awarding it the "2016 Drone of the Year Award", the Eachine Wizard features a 4mm, ultra-light, carbon 365g drone racing x-shaped frame with high performance, smooth, and precise balanced 2205 2300KV motors that offer prolonged and furiously fast flights.
